The Humble 'Packing Shed', hand crafted from wood & tin, was once found on every Market Garden in the Valley but now only survives on only but the last few. These unassuming buildings where the heart of most the farms in the district & was often the most widely used place on the farm. These sheds were where the Daffodils were sorted, trimmed & 'race-up' for market, early Cherries & Strawberries were graded & autumnal fruits such as Apples & Pears were bagged.  Their most constant use however was the famous Tamar Valley Daffodil industry.
