100 Heirloom Tamar Valley 'Woodpecker’ Narcissi
Woodpecker’ c.1955 Cornwall 🇬🇧
It’s swept back petals makes this statuesque narcissi really stand out in the crowd.
Bred by Michael Percival Williams. Michael was the son of the incredibly famously clandestine Cornish Daffodil breeder P. D. Williams that gave the world the ever popular ‘Carton’. Michael inherited his families talent & produce some absolutely lovely cultivars in his own right including the now much revered ‘Jack snipe’.
‘Woodpecker’ was registered in 1955 & now is one of our rarer daffodils on the farm which is a shame as we think it is rather lovely.
We think even Professor Yaffle himself would chuffed to be named after such a beauty.
100 stems (10 bunches)
The flowers will arrive by 1st class Royal Mail in bunches of 10 flowers). These are Wholesale boxes which are packaged simply in a sturdy box, wrapped in packing tissue only - all material is 100 % recyclable, compostable & ecological packaging to minimise plastic in our world.
