Late Harvester – November (keeps until June the following year!)
This lovely dual apple has been rather overlooked of late, but this is a shame as it has some first rate qualities! The apples are a medium size with a green-yellow hue complemented by a pleasing aroma when bruised.
The tree has a useful vigorous, upright habit & not shy in fruit bearing, however, some do find it does become rather biennial if the weather is less then forgiving the season prior. Most people actually have this tree for its delicate but rather showy double blossom giving a rather beautiful overall appearance on what can be a usually a drab, wet spring day. We're greedy, we have it for both aspects.
