An incredible looking pumpkin with porcelain smooth, steel grey skin paired with the most vibrant orange flesh within. Flavour is sweet & nutty once roasted. Very vigorous so needs room to ramble. Fruits easily weigh 6-8lbs & store for 5 months. Unusually tolerant to wet & windy conditions. Found growing in a Market Garden in West Cornwall where they have been saving seed it’s for years. 
 
CULTURE – Sow seeds 2.5cm deep on their edge in May undercover in individual pots. Once plants establish plant out at 60cm (2ft) intervals, some can climb / trail for 2m (6ft). Can be harvested from 15 weeks. Prefers hot, rich, moisture retentive soil. Very frost sensitive.
