A small very pretty Squash, marbled colourful skins contains a sweet, almost nutty flavoured interior peachy flesh. Expect numerous 1lb fruits on a semi-bush vine. Excellent for roasting or baking. Unusually tolerant to wet & windy conditions. Found growing in a Market Garden in West Cornwall where they have been saving it's seed for years.
CULTURE – Sow seeds 2.5cm deep on their edge in May undercover in individual pots. Once plants establish plant out at 60cm (2ft) intervals, some can climb / trail for 2m (6ft). Can be harvested from 15 weeks. Prefers hot, rich, moisture retentive soil. Very frost sensitive.
