An incredible looking pumpkin with steel blue, heavily ribbed, skin paired with the most vibrant orange flesh within. Flavour is sweet, nutty & sometimes treacle like when roasted. Very vigorous & not uncommon to find it climbing trees or wigwams in the UK. Fruits easily weigh 10-20lbs & store for 4-5 months.  
 
CULTURE – Sow seeds 2.5cm deep on their edge in May undercover in individual pots. Once seedlings are established plant out at 60cm (2ft) intervals, some can climb / trail for 4.5m (15ft). Can be harvested from 19 weeks. Prefers hot, rich, moisture retentive soil. Very frost sensitive.
